Custom Layered City and Bathymetric Wood Map

This beautiful and unique 3D Layered City and Bathymetric Map is handcrafted in our shop in Buffalo, NY. These maps are similar to our Layered City Maps, but also showcase the submerged topography of the oceans and sea bottoms.  Multi layers of 1/8" birch wood are laser cut and engraved then sanded, stained, painted and finished with a clear coat all by hand.  Depending on the depth of each water feature, the map will consist of 5-7 layers, creating a piece that will be anywhere from 5/8" to 1" deep.
 
Perfect for anniversary, wedding, or housewarming gifts. 
 
This piece can be hung on a wall or stood on a table or mantel with an easel (not included).  
 
Due to the nature of the wood grains, final product will vary slightly from the items shown in the pictures, making your item one of a kind!
